Elvis Presley Is Alive and Well

Some people still think Elvis Presley is alive. This is open to debate even though it’s highly unlikely, judging from the hard way he lived during the 70’s.

In the 1970’s Elvis Presley was leading a lifestyle that would bring most people to their knees with fatigue. He was touring more than ever in his life, partying like an animal with the Memphis Mafia, and coming to terms with his failing love life.

Colonel Tom Parker pushed Elvis as hard as he could during the 70’s to keep the money-making machine alive, and this probably contributed to Elvis’ declining health. An example of Parker’s relentless business pursuit occurred in May of 1977, while Elvis was feeling ill in a hotel room and being treated by a doctor. It is said that Parker walked in, saw Elvis looking sick, and remarked to another person in the room; the only thing I care about right now is that he shows up on stage tonight!”

Still, some people think Elvis Presley is alive and well because they say Parker believed Elvis was more of a precious commodity if he were dead. One of the theories is that Parker created this grand money-making scheme to immortalize Elvis Presley by faking his death, or that he even pushed Elvis to the brink of his death by creating a ridiculously busy touring schedule.

Even though it is possible for anyone, including Elvis, to stay under the radar for years as proven by Osama Bin Ladin and many others, Elvis would have to have some assistance from other people, making this scenario highly unlikely. And as much as I dislike the way Parker treated Elvis, I just don’t see how he would want Elvis dead for financial gain. So, do you still believe Elvis Presley is alive?

These days, huge rewards are being offered as nothing other than a marketing ploy for their companies for the return of Elvis. Sightings continue, although they have diminished somewhat.

Is Elvis Presley still alive? I believe so; but only in our hearts. As Elvis Presley fans, we want to believe. He is so sorely missed and human nature tells us to hold out for hope.
